Well, I tried. This was to be a compilation of resting places includes most of the burials of family members born before 1900 in the United States. After I added 1,236 memorials, I found that my idea wouldn’t work.
The unfortunate thing in building this virtual cemetery is that builder is the only one who can see it.
If you have an account on Find-a-Grave, you can build your own virtual cemetery with your ancestors in it. look for your account name in the upper right hand corner on the Find-a-Grave page, click the down button and then “Virtual Cemetery.” You create your own cemetery there.
The memorials can be sorted by name, dates, and cemetery. This may be helpful in your research.
If there comes a time when a virtual cemetery can be shared, I will put the information here. In the meantime, I will add pictures of family headstones with metadate attached.
